Dr. Grace Floutsis has more than 20 years of experience working in various community health centers service diverse populations. Much of her work has focused on developing and implementing chronic disease management programs that are culturally and linguistically appropriate for the East Los Angeles and Pico Union communities. She has introduced several programs that focused on diabetes self-management and teen pregnancy prevention.
Dr. Floutsis is a graduate of the California College of Medicine at UC Irvine. She completed a Family Practice residency at Merrithew Memorial Hospital in Martinez, California and is Board Certified in Family Medicine. She has been an active member of the community Clinic Association of Los Angeles and served as chairperson of the Clinic Advisory Group. She serves on the board of LA Net, a practice-based research network focusing on the needs of safety net health care providers.
